Unless your name is Barbara Blackburn of Salem, the Guinness Book of World Records holder for the fastest typing (clocking at 150 wpm for 50 min or 37,500 key strokes and attaining top speed of 212 wpm), chances are you take down class notes by the old fashioned pen and paper. Then you transfer them ink notes onto your notebooks for easier reading, organizing and access, are we right? It's about time someone came up with the Easybook M³ Digital Notepad. With the Easybook you no longer have to retype your notes into your computer. The Easybook M³ Digital Notepad uses a digital pen that recognizes and records your handwriting. The notes can then be sent directly to your PC automatically organised, processed and saved! Its smart margins features allows you to select and assign each of your notes as e-mail message, Microsoft Word document, Microsoft Excel table, task to do, memo, and more. Meanwhile the smart page header automatically saves the subject, folder and date written in the PC. The Easybook M³ Digital Notepad starter package comes with a Nokia digital pen and its installation software as well as all of the accessories required for synchronisation. But it also works with Logitech io Pen. If you want to see the Easybook M³ Digital Notepad in action, and we know you want to, you can watch the demo video right here. |

With the success of its Linux-based 770 Internet Tablet, Nokia is looking into the possibility of adding new features to the next generation of Nokia tablet devices.Veering away from the cellular route gives Nokia more freedon. Ari Virtanen, vice president of convergence products at Nokia, said, The biggest thing is that we don't want to be part of the cellular value chain. We want to be a little bit out of that world. Once you put a SIM card in, it's automatically controlled by the operator. Nokia is looking to provide extra functionality to its devices, which why a webcam might just make its way to the next minitablet. It gives a mobile dimension to the fixed Internet. It's for that very same reason that Google Talk instant-messaging and Internet telephony support have been included in the latest software upgrade. New interface methods might just be added as well. The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet currently makes use of a touch screen and stylus for text input. Some who are just not into that can opt for the expanded virtual keyboard. Nokia isn't ruling out WiMax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), though they are not committed to it. Virtanen said, If WiMax takes off like wireless LAN has, then why not? |

I know you must love playing your N-Gage games, so this news is a treat for you. Nokia's N-Gage Game Shop is offering new downloadable games online. After buying the game and downloading it to your computer, you then have to transfer the game files to your MMC card via an MMC card reader, and you're ready to play (and challenge just anyone who you think is worth playing against). You can try the games for free first so you'd know exactly what you're buying. ![]() The games available in Nokia's N-Gage Game Shop are as follow:
