Elmo says Sesame Street's Elmo is far from a demonic icon, but one of his dolls might certainly be up to some tricks. According to one concerned parent in Florida, it seems one of the programmable Elmo dolls has learned to speak death threats to its two-year old owner.

It's a good thing the kid doesn't know a death threat when it hears one. More on this after the jump!

First off, thanks to the nice fellows who decided to inform us that the Elminator, or the Tickle Me Extreme Elmo toy, was actually released the day before. That was definitely a mistake on my part, as I registered November in my head as the ninth month of the year, rather than September.

Apparently, the Elmo toy is smarter than I am.

Moving on...

Well, the Tickle Me Extreme Elmo has been out for a while now, and it also means that someone's probably got more than one of it and is stockpiling TMX units in a pre-emptive strike against the Christmas arms race. Some pioneering spirits have decided to advertise their goods already with videos as a way to show their new wares to the public.

Luckily, entrepreneurial souls like bradleyvance have a knack for putting it up on YouTube. Let's take a look at Fisher Price's TMX Elmo, shall we?

TMX ElmoJohn Connah, I hab come to rescue you.Follow me eef you want to leev... heeheehee. Okay... that's not exactly how you would imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger would sound like as the Terminator, but imagine that if Elmo were the T-80.

You can almost see it now... *dream sequence*

In the year 2099, children had grown to become valley girls and boys of unquenchable nastiness and overall lack of actual fabric on clothing. Parents, with the help of Skynet (now disguised as Fisher-Price), decided to try one last ditch effort to save the human race from complete and utter stupidity.

They had to send him back. To the year 2006. To protect John Connor's innocence and make him a happy, well-adjusted child.

So began the creation of the TMX, the Tickle Me Extreme, an upgraded version of the original Tickle Me Elmo toy, which would end up celebrating its 10th anniversary on the year 2006. The TMX is equipped with three specific tickle spots which activate his serious, yet lovable, laughing action. Once activated, the TMX will slap his knee while doubling over in laughter to the delight of John Connor. Multiple tickles will activate other attack patterns of love and tenderness, ensuring the safety of John Connor's mind and the hope of the future.

*end dream sequence*

Skynet... er, Fisher-Price will officially unveil Elmo on November 16 of this year, and will be priced at $40 US. Yes, apparently Elmo is back, and will be ready to say "Hasta la vista, baby," to toy lovers in a couple of weeks.
