Thanko USB Warmer Cushion - Image 1

If you live somewhere real cold and you find it annoying to come back to a frigid PC seat after a quick break, the Thanko USB Warmer Cushion may just be the new gadget for you. It keeps that PC-hogging booty happy as can be if you like things on the warm side.

The device is essentially a seat cushion that has a USB attachment that plugs right into your desktop or laptop. Studies may not have been made on how cold butts affect productivity or game savvy, but at least you'll spare everyone from your "mysterious" mood swings.

The Thanko USB Warmer Cushion sells for US$ 25.83. Unfortunately, distribution in the U.S. isn't underway yet so you'll have to import it if you really want it. Otherwise, just get someone to occupy your throne during breaks.

USB LED Lamp

Since the popularity of the USB port has risen, we have seen many USB peripherals that beg the question - why were they ever made? So many in fact, you can fill a 31 port USB hub! If you're a fan of USB-powered gadgets, then this one may be for you. A lamp is always a useful thing to have near your PC, whether you need to write something or just want a bit of extra light but not too much. The Aquarium Desk Lamp from Thanko Japan will be a reliable lamp and much much more.

The USB lamp also has a mini aquarium, where it houses 2 fish (fake of course) to look at while your eyes aren't glued to your monitor. The lamp is also a bit different, as it is made up of 17 individual LEDs, giving it that super-cool futuristic look. You can choose which colour for the LEDs to be, or let the colours change on their own. Also, the desk lamp can be collapsed in order to facilitate more room on your desk, or just to give you a better view of the aquarium. No cleaning, no feeding and no dead fish! This aquarium truly seems the best! The lamp is Windows XP/2000 and Mac OS compatible when a USB port is available, and is priced at 2,480 yen or approximately $22.
