CES 2007 was already concluded, but that doesn't stop us from giving you one last look at some of the useful, high-tech, and weird thingamajigs that went on display for this massive electronics show. ExtremeTech has recently posted a wide array of CES 2007 pics consisting of gadgets, mobile phones, and the booth babes that we might have overlooked. Here are some of them:

The jukebox-looking apparatus is the Rock-Ola Bubbler Series. It may look like a jukebox, but this is not an oldie because instead of playing records or CDs, it plays an iPod. The car that needs no pimping is Auto Core's Low Rider, and yup, The King is well represented with Wow Wee's animatronic Elvis Presley head. Of course, what would an electronics show be without booth babes, right? To see more CES 2007 recap pics, click on our read link below.

DominoesA lot of things aren't used for their original purpose: PSP's aren't used to play UMD's, crappy games are used as coasters, consoles are used as crash test dummies, and dominoes just aren't used to play...dominoes.

Not that we mind, especially after we took a look at this vid posted over at Reuters, which showed the current record holder for most dominoes toppled in one sitting.

This grand event took place in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, with 90 people from 13 different countries coming together to build this elaborate set, which involved very diverse themes ranging from falling buildings, record players, to even a jukebox.

Eighties pop star Kim Wilde started the whole thing falling, as she dropped the first domino that started the whole chain reaction, and despite some minor problems in the execution (not all of them fell), this attempt toppled a total of 4,002,146 dominoes - making it the current world record. This attempt beats out the previous record set in 1988, with 1,382,101 toppled. Next up: SmashmyWii part 2: console dominoes!

Feel free to click the source link to see the vid.

jukebox

The funky musical memorabilia from the 50's/60's era known as the jukebox has just become funkier and hyped up with iPod. You can now play and view whatever's in your iPod in this Jukebox Station equipped with amplifiers and a 5-speaker system which produce quality sounds to let you listen to your music loud and proud, without the sound of skipping CDs.

However, don't put another dime in the jukebox just yet because...well, you don't have to! Gone are the days of dime-dropping to listen to the songs in the box. The JukeBox Station is operated with an IR remote control so you can set the volume and select the songs you want to listen to from across the room. All you need is your iPod dock connector and you're ready to go.
Use your Universal Dock to plug your iPod in the JukeBox station and listen to up to 10,000 songs which are loaded in your iPod. Another cool thing about it is that the JukeBox Station has an LED Lighting System thus giving it a more vintage touch.

The JukeBox Station has a Wood Enclosure Jukebox Style 2.1 Stereo System and can also access FM/AM radio stations. It's a meter tall, making it perfect for your game or music room. It also comes with a 17-function IR Remote Control, which allows you to select songs and set the volume from across the room. The JukeBox Station has RCA Input and RCA Video Output Jacks which you can use to connect to your TV set to view photos and videos.

If you want to listen to your music real LOUD and not have the neighbors sue you for disturbing the peace, the JukeBox Station also has 3.5mm mini-jack input where you can plug in your headphones. Cool, huh? Unfortunately, iPod fanatics and vintage ravers would have to wait 'til October 2 of this year to get a hold of the JukeBox Station, which will be exclusively distributed by Pacific Rim Technologies in North America.

You can also read our article on how to view videos and photos from your iPod on to your TV.
