Solar ferry model proposed by Solar Sailor - Image 1Hybrid cars aren't the only thing that's going green. By 2009, Australia's Solar Sailor is planning to set up solar-powered ferry boats to sail across San Francisco Bay, carrying tourists and passengers alike.

If all goes well, the boat will be ferrying passengers in two years time. The boat still runs on diesel, but it mostly gets around on wind or solar power.

mousepad It's not actually porn, although the mousepad features a pair of very nice hooters. Aah, wait we were saying something...oh yeah, the eye-catching mousepad is part of Breastcancerhk.org's campaign to increase awareness of the dangers of breast cancer and how to detect them early enough. 

According to the organization, breast cancer is now the most common form of cancer among women in Hong Kong. They estimate one in every 23 women will develop breast cancer at some point in their life and everyday, an average of five women in Hong Kong are diagnosed with the illness. The good news is the five-year survival rate is 96% when breast cancer is detected early, either by self-examination or by having regular medical check-ups.
