You know what, playing the Ferrari Challenge on your PlayStation 3 would look so outdated with this. The Australian-created SX02 GT Challenge Simulator is a full car simulator with a PS3 unit integrated into it. Basically, that's authentic Ferrari gears pimped up with stunning sound and state of the art graphics.

You can either go fully automatic or manual with this simulator in terms of gear shifting. About the latter, several choices are being offered like
the steering wheel paddle shift, SimworX's motorsport-inspired manual gear lever, or even Logitech's latest 6 speed H pattern shift.

The pedals, on the other hand, were made using the same alloy that comes with real Ferrari cars. Real-life drivers know that this is important especially for the break pedal to
avoid premature brake lock up.

On top of everything else, the simulator offers more than 100 cars to choose from and a handful of various circuits.

And get this, at the back of SX02 GT Challenge Simulator's seat is an integrated amplifier that has two Titanium triple cone speakers and a long throw sub woofer. The speakers are mounted behind your head while the sub woofer is mounted in the chassis under your seat.

Ferrari 312PB 1/3 scale replica

Here is a one of a kind vehicle, something that you will probably never come across in your life, and possibly one of the most exclusive items ever featured on QJ Gadgets. This Ferrari 312 Replica built by Pierre Scerri of Avignon, France shows just how far a man's relationship to his car and tools can go. This masterpiece is an exact 1/3 scale replica of the 1971-73 exclusive Ferrari 312PB sports car. Everything is the same as it's bigger brother but simply 1/3 of the size.

This means that each part has been perfectly crafted by Pierre himself, with the project that took a little over 15 years to complete and around 20,000 hours of hard labor put into it. He even took the liberty of making an exact 1/3 scale operating fuel injection system identical to that of the full-size Ferrari, learned electronics to mimic the 70's circuit boards from the original, and learned to make glass so he could make the exact pattern lens for the headlights.

The word that may pop into your head after reading this is 'mad'. Now take a look at the photos again. This is engineering excellence in its purest form. Now if he could only get a driver for it, he'll be more legendary.

120MPH electric carThis is one car that certainly doesn't deserve a place in our deals section. This electric car from gadget shop Hammacher Schlemmer does 120 MPH an accelerates from 0-60 MPH in an amazingly fast 4 seconds flat. The car may be pretty small, smaller than most motorcycles and not that practical, but since when did that matter with a gadget? The $108,000 electric car features two electric motors that combine to produce over 1,000 lbf ft. of torque.

It may look like a one-seater, but you and a passenger can seat (we wouldn't say comfortably) in tandem with racing-style four-point seat belts to keep you in place whilst you plough along your local highway at Ferrari-beating speeds. Safety has also been considered. This car meets the Car Club of America racing standards for safety and is fitted with hi-tech material, with body panels made from a combination of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass, with side impact bars that offer four times the protection found in typical SUVs.

Unfortunately, you cannot just add this $108,000 car to your basket and buy online, you actually have to go through the hassle of calling Hammacher Schlemmer up to make your purchase - a smart move with such an expensive car. You can put a bet on that  within a few months time you will see celebrities running around in these cars claiming to be 'eco-friendly'. If they got rid of their other 10 Range Rovers and the 5 SUV's carrying their goods behind them, then maybe they would be.

AutoMotoPortal published their list of the 10 Most Beautiful Cars Of All Time, and beautiful they all are, indeed. Getting into this high-end and exclusive list is not easy. In searching for these pretty little things, they kept in mind one ultimate criterion: undoubtful and unmistakable beauty.

Okay, so that doesn't really help in explaining the criterion. But maybe seeing the images of the listed beauties can help you get the concept of their criterion. Just click on the bullet thumbnails for a bigger view.

Here are the 10 most beautiful rides (not arranged in any particular order) according to AutoMotoPortal:

jaguar e typeThe Jaguar E Type: launched in 1961, and otherwise dubbed as the XK-E; brought to life by aerodynamics engineer Malcolm Sayer, hence the stunning design combined with performance and engineering excellence.

MB Count TrossiThe 1930 Mercedes Benz Count Trossi SSK: aka The Black Prince. It can probably pass off as the more elegant version of the batmobile, but hey, if it's in the famous Ralph Lauren car collection, then there sure is no reason for anyone to make fun of it!

Bugatti VeyronBugatti Veyron 16.4: one of the fastest, most expensive, the most powerful and the most beautiful cars of our time. 'Nuff said.

Teardrop Coupe1938 Talbot-Lago T150 C SS Teardrop Coupe: goute d'eau- a drop of water. And it does look like it. And with a beauty like this, it sure will be one big heartbreak to crash one.

Pagani ZondaPagani Zonda: Horacio Pagani is the man responsible for this provocative and futuristic design. Factoid: He used his wife for a model during designing this car. And when viewed from the top, the car does have the figure of a supermodel.

Shelby Mustang Eleanor1967 Shelby Mustang Eleanor GT500: Became a star in the movie Gone in 60 seconds. Was named Eleanor thanks to the movie as well.

Ferrari DinoFerrari Dino: coined as such in honor of Dino Alfredo Ferrari, son of Enzo Ferrari, who suggested his father develop a V6 racing engine for Formula 2 in the early 1960's. Unfortunately, he died before the car was finished.

MB 300SL Coupe1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Coupe: unique because of its gull-wing or butterfly wing doors. This is one car that exemplifies vanity over comfort.

Rolls Royce PhantomRolls-Royce Phantom: its aluminum space frames is the largest of its kind ever built for automotive use. Screaming power and elegance. A classic.

Aston Martin ZagatoAston Martin DB4 GT Zagato: appeared in 1960 and had very limited production- for only 2 years, and for only 19 units. Now that's special.

Bugatti's VeyronAnother luxury car is in trouble yet again. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Given the new airbag regulations imposed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Bugatti's only car Veyron will need some tinkering for it to make the grade. And this "some tinkering" we're talking about will add at the very least, ten percent to its cost.

Company President Thomas Bscher even went the distance in saying that this could put them out of business. "The new regulation, which go into effect in September, would cause Bugatti 'substantial economic hardship' and have a 'catastrophic' impact on sales."

Curiously though, in a similar case back in May, Ferrari was granted an exemption from the new rules for its F430 super car.

Bscher added further that this could delay, if not stop, the development of the next-generation Veyron due in 2009. He promised, though, that they will meet the regulation by then.

Ferrari

Forget about knitting a scarf for Christmas, if you start now you might end up giving your loved ones a gift they'll probably keep - a Ferrari. Bath Spa University Art student graduate, Lauren Porter, for her honours degree, knitted a replica of a Ferrari using 12 miles of yarn.

“I get men admiring the racing lines and old women admiring the stitches.” says Porter.

It took 10 months, along with 20 family members and friends, to finish the 250 squares of garter stitch for the body work. V-shaped stocking stitch are used for the windows, while the details are crochet and the emblem is embroidered. A steel frame supports the whole thing, which she welded herself.

If you want a glimpse of this marvelous knit project, catch her exhibition, aptly titled "12 Miles of Yarn", at Studio 95, Brick Lane, London.

Is that knit or what?
