VectraSense Technologies presents Verb For Shoe - Image 1How would you like to wear a pair of computerized shoes? Thanks to VectraSense Technologies'  "Smart Shoe Experience," now you can. The company has worked to bring you the latest in cutting-edge shoe technology: Verb For Shoe.

According to VectraSense Technologies, the embedded computer in the shoes provides the wearer with the following features:
  • Auto Comfort: The shoes automatically adjust comfort according to the wearer's movements.
  • Wireless Link: A wireless link allows the shoes to link with your PC.
  • Contact Sharing: The shoes wirelessly communicate with each other,
exchanging contact information among different wearers.
That covers it for the shoes, but the Experience itself offers more. The Experience is basically a collection of internet attractions that features Smart Shoe Technology within the broader contexts of fashion and style. It includes:
  • New Romantic: A collection of interactive music videos featuring the shoes in various cultural settings.
  • Tech Square: Describes the raw technology.
  • The Chronicles: A frequently updated blog chronicling the Verb For Shoe phenomena.
  • Ron's Studio: Gets personal with Ronald Demon, creator of Verb For Shoe.
  • The Nation: An online forum where Verb For Shoe enthusiasts world-wide can share experiences and learn about upcoming events.
The features mentioned above basically kick off a series of international events that you may participate in. "Live from Boston," the first live videocast event, is scheduled for June 14, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. In it, Demon will be demonstrate the shoe's technology and hold a Q & A session with viewers.

How much, you may ask? Minimum suggested retail price is US$ 700. If you'd like more information on the shoes or the events, check out the source link below.
