Toshiba just revealed some information on their giant 16GB Flash pen drive that will launch as a limited edition product; it will be released at the end of November. Anybody that requires a flash drive which stores so much information - let's face it, this is basically a hard drive the size of a pen - can get one from shops around the world at the end of November for an undisclosed price tag.
The Toshiba TransMemory 16GB as it is called will also be big on security freaks. The thingamajig will have support for a password-based security system that can be downloaded for free from Pocket Media, Toshiba’s memory card information site. All of this to safeguard your private information, and believe us you'll fit a lot of private information on a 16GB flash drive. Toshiba also announced that they have bigger plans to outdo the Transmemory 16GB and that they will release details on much larger flash drives in the near future.
