Sure, it's Weird Science meets Austin Powers, but when you talk abut Japan and robotics, it's serious stuff. Sanrio's Actroid DER2 is the successor to the first Actroid DER, one of the most lifelike female robots - okay, girl androids - ever produced. We featured the first DER, along with four other androids, in an end-of-August article, so you can head there to see her and compare her with this latest fembot. |

It just had to be a female.
Anyways, this is some pretty cool stuff and does seem kind of life like. Some of the movements are really good and seem life like, but there is still a lot robotic movements that just seem creepy. It's amazing how much technology advances.
Ya see, I write for this blog and all, but there are still things that manage to make me want to cry out in the middle of the night, asking, "Why, God, why?!"
sigh...
DON'T HAVE SEX WITH ROBOTS
she has a big mouth. i want one of these. in 40 years every one will have these in there house to do there chores and for other things like when your wife refuses to have sex with you . she seems like she would be fun to hang out with :D maybe take her to a club or something :)
