Samsung, Armani unveil new premium LCD TV at Milan International Furniture Fair - Image 1

Meet the Armani TV, Giorgio Armani and Samsung's latest offering that comes in close ties with the previous Samsung/Armani phone they released last year. It has recently caught the eye of audiences at the Milan International Furniture Fair, and the Samsung says that the Armani TV will be the company's latest premium TV line when it hits markets this summer.

The Samsung Armani LCD HD TV - Image 1At first glance, the Armani TV would actually remind you of those US$ 3,000 suits, only this time they've been given Samsung's glassy, piano black finish and draped neatly over a 100 Hz-capable, full high-definition flat screen panel with feet. The Armani TV picks up HD at the higher refresh rate end (100 Hz) and carries the standard-fare HDMI connector interface.

Samsung plans to have the 46-inch version rolling around markets in Europe, Korea, and Russia by mid-summer, while the 52-incher will follow suit some time later. No other features have been stated in the press announcement by Samsung, so stay tuned for more updates.

Now if you don't mind, we'll scrounge for news of a Gucci fridge and a Christian Dior air washer... We know they're lurking out there somewhere.
