One of the latest trends these days follows a simple adage: the tinier that gadget, the better. Apparently, the guys from Princeton have followed this trend with the release of their latest Bluetooth adapter, the PTM-UBT4.

This little gadget measures at 4.5 x 23 x 14-mm with a total range of 100 meters. It's also got Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, enabling it to transfer data with a speed 3Mpbs.

The company has plans of releasing this baby later this month for ¥2,980 (US$ 28). As of writing, there's still no official word if they will be shipping it to other countries as well.

As for our thoughts on this tiny wonder, it wouldn't hurt having this gadget around to be used anytime, anywhere.
