Sony Walkman - Image 1With the current popularity of video and music players, it's no surprise the Sony updated their Walkman line with a new series of products that not only play music, but support video as well. Introducing the NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610, two new products that not only perform well, but also looks pleasing to the eye.

Both Walkman players have LCD screens with a resolution of 320x240 pixels, and their Quarter Video Graphics Array (QVGA) enables the video music players to display videos at 30 frames per second.

The  NWZ-A810 and NWZ-S610 supports open standard media, so there shouldn't be any problems in playing media encoded in most format. Should there be any need to convert media, you can use shareware to convert the video clips or music.

Battery life isn't going to be an issue as well since the NWZ-A810 series sport a hefty battery life of eight hours, while NWZ-S610 can last for up to nine-and-a-half hours. Pretty useful for those who travel in long stretches at a time.

NWZ-A810 players come in three flavors: 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. All of the devices come in white, pink, black and silver, with the exception of the 8GB player which only comes in black or silver colors. Pricing for this player are as follows: US$ 140 for 2GB, US$ 180 for 4GB, and US$ 230 for 8GB.

On the other hand, the NWZ-S610 comes also in the same flavors as the above device. Available colors are black, pink, red and silver, again with the exception of the 8GB flavor that only comes in black. Prices for this device are US$ 120 for 2GB, US$ 160 for 4GB, and US$ 210 for 8GB.
