New Sony walkman features increased battery life and Blutooth Stereo

New NWZ-A820 series WALKMAN Video Mp3 players with Bluetooth Stereo - Image 1Sony might be seriously trying to bump off the iPod as everyone's favorite music player with the release of the NWZ-A820 walkman.

Aside from being able to play MP3s and a variety of other formats, the gadget can also play videos at up to 30 fps on its 2.4-inch screen. The device also features support for Bluetooth stereo.

The device has up to 16GB of storage, and also sports a battery that can last 10 hours of video playback (or 36 hours of music playback). That's quite a step up from its NWZ-S610 and NWZ-A810 products.

The NWZ-A820 is set to be released this April in Europe. No news yet on when it will be released on other regions, but we'll keep you posted on it.
