When you need inspiration for something, where do you look? As any great artist (or even your run-of-the-mill pretentious one) would say, you have to look inside. This designer may have taken it a bit too seriously when he designed this new table lamp, which he modeled after his very own brain. Check it out in the full article. |

It's always a wonder how the future will look like even if we have centuries of history as reference on how technology moves forward. Some experts say a responsive household is what we'll see a few years from now, and we couldn't agree more. Definitely not after seeing the electroluminescent rug that glows with every footstep. Learn all about it at the full article. |

It's not exactly the La-Z-Boy, but it was made with home entertainment and gaming in mind so we don't need the massage feature (yet): the new Ace Bayou fiber optic X Rocker 4.1 True Surround Sound Chair. It's exactly what the name says it is. It's a chair slash surround sound speaker system. Details and a picture of the chair in the full article. |

A geek's dream home come true: imagine a technophile winning the lottery, then snagging a penthouse apartment in New York Central Park. What do you get? An apartment fully furnished with all the good stuff Intel has to offer, with plasma monitors in every nook and cranny, even in the bathroom. As expected of a technophiles crib, the apartment sports a modern, minimalist interior design. It also has a glass staircase to complete the apartment's futuristic look. Technology is everywhere: plasma in the bathroom, a computer beside the slim Miele stove, walls for projection, the works. Every gadget in the house is controlled with a state-of-the-art Niveus command center, stored in an equipment closet with built-in air conditioner to keep it cool. Speaking of closets, this Wi-Fi shirt may likely be stored in one of the closets found this high-tech apartment. And oh, the price? A cool US$ 8.5 million. So unless you happen to win the lottery, or just plain rich, its recommended that you just visit the place in your dreams instead. Check out the Read link for more pictures! |

If you live somewhere real cold and you find it annoying to come back to a frigid PC seat after a quick break, the Thanko USB Warmer Cushion may just be the new gadget for you. It keeps that PC-hogging booty happy as can be if you like things on the warm side. The device is essentially a seat cushion that has a USB attachment that plugs right into your desktop or laptop. Studies may not have been made on how cold butts affect productivity or game savvy, but at least you'll spare everyone from your "mysterious" mood swings. The Thanko USB Warmer Cushion sells for US$ 25.83. Unfortunately, distribution in the U.S. isn't underway yet so you'll have to import it if you really want it. Otherwise, just get someone to occupy your throne during breaks. |

If you loved the crystal-clear reception and high sound quality of HD Radio broadcasts to your home and you're wishing you can take it on the road, JVC has a solution for you. The consumer electronics giant has announced that digital broadcasting can now travel on wheels with its new KD-HDR1."It is with great enthusiasm that we launch this new HD Radio product that is both low priced and easy for consumers to install in their cars and at home," said JVC Mobile Entertainment, Chad Vogelsong, General Manager, Marketing. "Following the overwhelming sales of our HD Radio head unit, the KD-HDR1, this transportable is the first of several new JVC HD Radio products that will be coming to market over the next 18 months," adds Vogelsong. The car HD radio can be installed in one of three possible ways. First is the do-it-yourself style kit that doesn't require the removal of the radio, the simpler home kit and the professional installation kit that will require removing your radio. The tuner itself sells for US$ 129, while the do it yourself kit is available for US$ 49. The professional assembly kit can be bought for US$ 39. |
