For those of us who want a bit more security in their lives, or if you simply want a camera that's a bit more convenient than the one in your cellphone, then Digital Cowboy may have what you need. Introducing the DVR-BP, a camcorder from the Land of the Rising Sun that comes in the form of a pen.

Do you see where the pinhole camera lens is? No? Then the guys at Digital Cowboy have done their job, and did it well.

So, what are the specifics with this little baby? For JP¥ 17,800 (about US$ 175), you get a the pend with the 1-mm pinhole CMOS camera, a mic, a 2-hour battery, and two whopping gigabytes of memory to store the video you just recorded at a startlingly clear 352 x 288 pixels in 15 frames per second.

That may not sound like much, but when you consider that the video below was shot entirely with the DVR-BP, then you might want to reconsider.
