Dell had us all excited when it announced that it's launching an all-in-one PC soon. Competitors HP and Gateway had already launched theirs, making us wonder how Dell's XPS One models would stack up.
As it turns out, the XPS One will come in four variants: The Essential One, The Performance One, the Music One and the Entertainment One.
All these PCs will come in a package that has a keyboard, a mouse, a 20-inch monitor and all the components dwelling in the display box. All of these models will sport good specs such as an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 250GB of hard drive space, 2GB of RAM and Windows Vista Home pre-installed.
Hints such as a complimentary headset for the Music One have been made. More attractive is the promise of a Blu-ray DVD burner and an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro graphics card with 256MB of memory for the Entertainment One.
We've yet to catch details on the Performance One and the Essential One as of press time. Pricing and launch details remain unclear as Dell tries to settle in on the specifics.
