In the market for a good hi-def camcorder? This new gadget from AgfaPhoto might pique your interest. It's the DV-5000Z, which can take up to 720p in resolution.

This little baby (we mean it, it's tiny) can store up to four hours and twenty minutes worth of MPEG-4 format video on an 8 GB SDHC card.

This new camcorder isn't as tiny as Sony's HDR-TG1, but not by much. You don't need something extremely tiny anyway - you might lose it inside your palm.

The DV-5000Z is 4.7 inches by 2.75 inches small, and weighs in under 200 grams. Just watch that you don't accidentally sit on it or it might disappear inside your... pants. Here's the specs for those who need more info:

The gadget will be available in Russia by the end of April for EUR 249 (US$ 390), which is quite a step below the Sony HDR-TG1's US$ 900 price tag. Not bad. No news yet on when it will be released in other regions though, but you may want to keep an eye out.
