A convenience store in Florida is the first in the state to accept payments for its goods biometrically. Coast to Coast Family Convenience Store employs the finger-scan service of Pay By Touch, a company that owns and runs the BioPay-branded biometric payment network all over the U.S.

This service is considered more convenient and secure than when consumers use other modes of payment. Shoppers don't need to fuss with their cards, wallets, or checks. It also provides a more secure transaction as consumers only need to get their fingers scanned and their account numbers or other personal information will not be exposed.

Those enrolled to use the BioPay-branded service (one can sign up for Pay by Touch at the kiosk or online) will be receiving some free items or services from the store. I know a lot of people will be thrilled about this; I'd like to give it a try myself...
