This is one car that certainly doesn't deserve a place in our deals section. This electric car from gadget shop Hammacher Schlemmer does 120 MPH an accelerates from 0-60 MPH in an amazingly fast 4 seconds flat. The car may be pretty small, smaller than most motorcycles and not that practical, but since when did that matter with a gadget? The $108,000 electric car features two electric motors that combine to produce over 1,000 lbf ft. of torque.

It may look like a one-seater, but you and a passenger can seat (we wouldn't say comfortably) in tandem with racing-style four-point seat belts to keep you in place whilst you plough along your local highway at Ferrari-beating speeds. Safety has also been considered. This car meets the Car Club of America racing standards for safety and is fitted with hi-tech material, with body panels made from a combination of carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass,with side impact bars that offer four times the protection found in typical SUVs.

Unfortunately, you cannot just add this $108,000 car to your basket and buy online, you actually have to go through the hassle of calling Hammacher Schlemmer up to make your purchase - a smart move with such an expensive car. You can put a bet on that  within a few months time you will see celebrities running around in these cars claiming to be 'eco-friendly'. If they got rid of their other 10 Range Rovers and the 5 SUV's carrying their goods behind them, then maybe they would be.
